Strengthen Recovery with the Public Assistance Program

The Public Assistance (PA) Program, administered by FEMA and managed by KYEM, provides federal funding to help communities recover from major disasters. PA supports the repair, replacement or restoration of public infrastructure damaged during a federally declared disaster. It can also help reimburse communities with the costs of emergency response and debris removal.

This program is specifically for public entities such as state agencies, counties, cities, certain private nonprofits, and public utilities.

KYEM helps liaise between the applicant and FEMA, ensuring clear communication, smooth coordination, and a stress-free process.
