LEPC Supplemental Funds Grant Award Notification

The Kentucky Emergency Response Commission (KERC) approved on September 2, 2025, an LEPC Supplemental Funds Grant Award of $100,000 for Local Emergency Planning Committees (LEPCs). LEPCs that are in compliance with KRS 39E.110 and 106 KAR 1:091 will be allowed to submit an LEPC Supplemental Funds Application: KERC Fee Account Grant (KERC Form 505-SPA).

A Supplemental Funds Project is a project that would exceed the LEPC’s current account balance. LEPCs that currently have three times their annual KERC Fee Account Grant allotment will be required to spend those funds before being considered for an LEPC Supplemental Funds Grant Award.

Your LEPC has sixty (60) days from the date of this letter to submit an LEPC Supplemental Funds Application: KERC Fee Account Grant (KERC Form 505-SPA) to the KERC Program Manager, Tiffany Sizemore. All applications must include the LEPC Non- Supplanting Certificate and be submitted by November 15, 2025, to be considered.
