Functions</b> (<b>G-2300)</b></p><p align="center"><b>April 07-09, 2026</b></p><p align="center"><b>Plano Fire Department Station 1</b></p><p align="center"><b>3210 Plano Rd., Bowling Green, KY 42101</b></p><p align="center"><b>9:00a – 5:00p CST</b></p><h1>Course Description&nbsp; </h1><p> <br clear="ALL">The E/L/G 2300 Intermediate Emergency Operations Center Functions is a three-day course with the goal of assisting individuals and jurisdictions who desire to develop or improve their Emergency Operation Centers (EOC). By the end of the course, students will be able to demonstrate, through activities and a Final Exam, the managerial and operational roles of the modern-day EOC as a NIMS Command and Coordination functional group operating within a Multiagency Coordination System (MACS)<b>. </b></p><h2>Student Criteria&nbsp; </h2><p>The intended audience(s) are federal, state, tribal, territorial, local level, business and nongovernmental emergency management personnel who may be designated to support an Emergency Operations Center (EOC) within their jurisdiction or organization. The materials were developed with the assumption that audience members may have little or no actual experience as a member of EOC Staff.<b><u> </u>The prerequisites are <i>IS-100, IS-700,</i> <i>IS-800 and IS-2200</i>. A copy of these course completion certificates must be provided before beginning of class. You may email it to the POC listed below. </b>&nbsp;</p><h2>Special Notes&nbsp; </h2><p>A <b>MINIMUM of twenty (20) </b>advance student registrations is <b>REQUIRED </b>and must be received by <b>March 31, 2026</b>. A <b>MAXIMUM #Fifty (50) </b>will be accepted. You are considered accepted as a student in this class upon receipt of your application. Letters of acceptance will not be sent. Meals, lodging, and travel expenses are the responsibility of the student and will <i>NOT </i>be reimbursed by KYEM.<i> This course will be delivered in digital format.
