This session will provide essential guidance on statutory responsibilities, operational procedures, and available resources to ensure effective emergency management at the county level.</p><h1> Agenda Highlights</h1><ul>    <li>Overview of the Kentucky Emergency Management System </li>    <li>Director Roles and Legal Responsibilities </li>    <li>Emergency Operations Center (EOC) Activation and Incident Command System (ICS) Fundamentals </li>    <li>Hazard Identification, Damage Assessment, and Reporting Procedures </li>    <li>Emergency Planning and Mitigation Strategies </li>    <li>Disaster Assistance Programs and Grant Management </li>    <li>Public Information and Coordination with Local Officials </li>    <li>Kentucky Qualification System (KQS) and Professional Development Opportunities </li>    <li>Tools and Resources for County Emergency Management Operations</li></ul><h1>Special Notes </h1><p>Advance student registrations is REQUIRED and must be received by<b> </b><b>June 1, 2026</b><b> </b>in order to conduct this course.
